"Our Arts and Culture Department was blown away by the incredible enthusiasm and creativity that everyone brought to the Bike Rack Design Competition. We send a heartfelt thank you to the 50+ citizens who entered the contest. The selected designs are not just functional - they’re set to transform the city’s look! We can't wait to unveil these works of art at an upcoming exhibition,” Mayor Lilia Hansen stated in a media release.
The designs selected will be installed and produced around the city, improving the community landscape according to the media release. While winning designers receive $250 prize money, some have declined this reward.
