Northern Rockies RCMP investigating recent report of shots fired

A recent report of shots fired in the area of Willow Road and Cottonwood Road intersection has the authority’s attention.

The Northern Rockies RCMP received a report of shots fired on September 28, at around 11:45pm in the vicinity of Willow Road and Cottonwood Road intersection.

Local authorities quickly responded to the report where they learned from multiple witnesses that a dark blue ATV had been observed leaving the scene moments before hearing the gun shots.

Local RCMP noticed that a residence on Cottonwood Road had sustained damage from possible bullet holes according to the media release. No reports of injuries as a result have been reported at this time

While this investigation remains a priority, authorities believe the recent events are targeted and are seeking the public's assistance.
