Grande Prairie RCMP requested the assistance of local RCMP in locating a stolen truck on May 7, which at the time was believed to be in the area.
The pickup was located in the Walmart parking lot by the Fort St John RCMP, and information had been received regarding the strange behavior of four youth associated with the truck, which resulted in their arrest.
One individual will face one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 as it was determined they were the driver of the vehicle, and a second youth was arrested regarding their warrant out of Nanaimo, BC.
The individuals from Grand Prairie and Hythe, Alberta were held until they could be released to their guardians while the youth arrested for possession of property obtained by crime has been released on an Undertaking with conditions and a court date.
