The Dawson Creek RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

The South Peace RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on March 18th, at around 2pm in the afternoon.
This collision took place near a gas station that is located at 8th Street and 110th Avenue, Dawson Creek.
The victim, who was walking on 8th Street, was struck by a vehicle exiting the gas station onto 8th Street, causing him to be knocked into traffic.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Although the driver briefly stopped, they quickly fled the scene after the collision.
The vehicle involved is believed to be an older model white Chevrolet Tahoe, featuring black or steel rims, and was driven by a female.
The Dawson Creek RCMP is asking the public to come forward with any information regarding the vehicle or the driver. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
