MVT Ranch Hand Portable Livestock Handling System at the July 4 presentation - Todd Buck
On July 4, members of the community were invited to the Charlie Lake Hall by the North Peace Cattlemen’s Association (NPCA), to attend a presentation of the Emergency Livestock Response Project.
The NPCA received confirmation that their grant application had been approved earlier this year, which enabled the organization to move forward with the project. $96,500 was received from the BC Government’s Food Security Emergency Planning and Preparedness Fund, which was delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of B.C to enable the completion of this project.
This project consists of an Emergency Livestock Response Trailer, and an MVT Ranch Hand Portable Livestock Handling System.
