Dropped 911 call leads to arrest

The local RCMP received a 911 call that was dropped and traced back to a business location near the area of 107 Ave and 102 Street in Fort St John on May 19, just after 6 am.

 

Upon arriving the police officers located and arrested two individuals, one with a suspected knife wound to the upper torso.

 

An individual with an injury was arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Order before being transported to the hospital for assessment by Emergency Health Services. After receiving care for the wound this individual was transported back to the Fort St John RCMP detachment, where they will remain until their court date on May 23.

 

Fort St John RCMP arrested the other individual for Assault with a Weapon and then released them on an Undertaking with conditions, and a court date of June 17.
