The community was invited by MLA Dan Davies to the green space at 100 Ave and 100 St on August 5, to celebrate B.C. Day in the North Peace with a family friendly BBQ.
The BBQ was well attended, having hundreds of people stop in to celebrate throughout the day. The event had multiple bouncy castles, which had been set up for kids to enjoy as well as delicious food and face painting for families.
“Thank you to the nearly 400 people that came through this afternoon. The conversations were very uplifting. All the families had so much fun between the bouncy castles, the face painting, and the barbecue. See you next year!” Davies said in a fakebook post.
